October 2000 -
What started out innocently as a bachelor party for 30 NYPD,FDNY childhood friends, making their first trip out to Notre Dame. We watched the Irish beat Drew Brees, rushed the field with the students and saw the Leprechaun take a ride on the shoulders of our Hero. This became The Jimmy Riches Leprechaun Memorial two short years later as our dear friend died at the WTC on 09/11/01.
